Equality Statement

At Thriplow Church of England Primary School, we aim:
  • To treat all those within the school community (eg pupils, staff, governors, parents and the community) as individuals with their own particular abilities, beliefs, challenges, attitudes, background and experience,
  • To provide a safe and caring environment where every child, regardless of ethnic group, religion, socio-cultural background, gender, special needs or disability, is valued and listened to and has equal access to opportunities for learning and achieving,
  • To promote cultural development and understanding through a wide range of experience, both in and beyond the school.
Our Equality Target for 2015-16 is to narrow the gap between English and Maths across all groups in the school.
