The PTA exists to support the school, its teachers and pupils. We aim to help improve the working environment for everyone at the school and to have a voice within the school community - all of which feeds into and supports the school ethos.
This year the PTA will continue to support the many school activities with refreshments, Christmas performances, various coffee mornings, Daffodil weekend and Sports Day. All of these help the overall fundraising activities on a small scale, but more importantly adds to the sense of community and support at Thriplow.
The School’s 150th Celebratory Dinner
Parents and friends joined in the School’s 150th Birthday Celebrations with a Dinner in the Hall on Friday 11th October 2013.
A very special and fun evening was enjoyed by all, which included Heads and Tails, Pot of Gold, Raffle and the auction of a unique Thriplow Teddy Bear. Dr Shirley Wittering kindly gave an informative presentation of the School’s history. The evening finished with a glass of bubbly, Birthday Cake and everyone singing Happy Birthday!
